Ladies and Gentlemen, I would love to introduce you to my absolute new favorite beauty item. I present to you, Tarte BB Tinted Cream:
What is a BB cream? According to Wikipedia, BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage.
I was looking for a BB cream for a while, and I did a lot of research, looking at drugstore brands vs higher end brands. I stumbled upon Tarte's BB cream, and it seemed to get really great reviews, so I picked it up at my local Sephora.
Holy crow. Can I just tell you, I have no idea how I lived before this product. I thought that my Makeup Forever foundation gave me fantastic coverage before, but with a layer of this Tarte cream underneath, my skin looks exceptionally flawless now, and I don't even have to use any concealer!
I love that you can build as much coverage as you would like. There are some days when I don't feel like wearing foundation, so I just put on a little more of the BB cream and I am good to go. I also love that this cream has SPF 30 in it. I'm getting older, and I need to start worrying a lot more about my skin care, so this does help a lot.
It says that it contains oil-free moisturizer, but my skin tends to be on the dry side, so I use a layer of moisturizer under this.
I wear the "Light" shade, and it matches my complexion wonderfully. If you are looking for a BB cream, I highly recommend Tarte!
