Most of the year, Buffalo can be pretty chilly. In fact, our winter seems to last about 75% of the year. In the summer, though, it can be pretty hot (which I absolutely love!) Most of the time you’ll find me in dresses, but when I’m taking my daily walks up to Hertel to grab an iced chai, I need workout clothing that will be comfortable and keep me cool during those muggy mornings.

The local company Arctic Cool reached out to me recently to try a few items from their Instant Cooling collection. They sent me the V-neck Tee, Long Sleeved 1/2 Zip, and the Tie Headband.

I put these pieces to the test on a particularly warm morning. Nicholas and I took the dogs for a pretty long walk, and by the end of the trek I was as cool as a cucumber. The tee was very comfortable and a relaxed fit, which is what I look for in my workout shirts. I normally pin my bangs back with a bobby pin while I’m working out, and I have no idea why I never thought of using a headband. It was so much more effective at keeping my hair out of my face and I’ll be sure to use it on my morning walks! Out of all of the pieces, I think I’m probably the most excited about the long sleeved 1/2 zip shirt, as I know I’ll be able to get a lot of use out of it all year round.

If you are looking to get some new activewear that will keep you cool, I would highly recommend Arctic Cool…thanks so much for the new gear!
