For the Love of Pins

EnamelPins

Hello, my name is Lindsay and I’m a pin fanatic.

I’ve always had a love of enamel pins. I remember when I was a kid I used to collect pins from all of the Hard Rock Cafe locations that we went to and kept them on this super cool Hard Rock Cafe hat. My collection kind of stalled out until a few years ago when I randomly came across a few independent pin makers on Instagram and Etsy and thought, OMG I need to have them all.

I don’t just collect any old boring pins, though. I tend to lean towards the three S’s…sassy, sexy, and supernatural. Before my collection got completely out of control, I would store them all on my denim jacket. But now, I graduated to two canvas pin banners, plus this incredible pin keeper, which is a collaboration between Pretty Useful Co. and Buffalo’s own Oxford Pennant. I love displaying them this way instead of in a jar or bowl because it’s easy for me to see what I have and just take off which piece of flair that I feel like wearing that day.

Below I’ve highlighted twenty of my favorite independent pin shops that I’ve purchased from in the past. If you all have any recommendations about your favorite shops, please send them along! I love learning about new artists and seeing what’s out there for me to wear proudly on my lapel (bonus points if it contains one of my three S’s)
