Holiday at the Shirt Factory Cafe

A few weeks ago my friends and I took a little road trip to a town about 45 minutes outside of Buffalo called Medina. If you aren’t familiar with Medina, it looks like one of those cute little towns that you see in Hallmark movies around Christmastime.

I’ve recently discovered this adorable place thanks to Scott and Al who own the Shirt Factory Cafe.

They had invited me to check out the space over the summer, and I totally fell in love with it. They had recently took over the cafe as new owners and wanted to make a few changes to the decor and menu.

For the Christmas season, the Shirt Factory Cafe decided to go all out and introduce a very special holiday food and cocktail menu, and they treated us to the most delicious evening imaginable.

We tried two cocktails and one mocktail. The Zuzu’s Petals consists of gin, blackberry liqueur, cinnamon, sweet vermouth, and egg white. The Judy’s Hot Chocolate (which Ryan was super excited about) has a little spike of Mezcal in it. The mocktail is called The Rockette and is ginger beer, pomegranate, rosemary syrup, and lime.

Being the mocktail snob that I am, I was so happy to see a non-alcoholic option on the menu, and it was absolutely delicious!

After we sipped on our drinks, Scott started to bring us out ALL of the food. We tried a few different dishes on their menu: Bob Hope sandwich (my personal favorite), Weck Trio, Roasted Butternut Toast, and the Caprese Tuna Melt.

Seriously though, everything was so amazing. Once we thought we were done, out came the dessert…

Hello Egg Nog Cupcakes and Hazelnut Cheesecake! I am unfortunately not a cheesecake person but Becki and Ryan were going nuts over it. I helped myself to one of the super yummy cupcakes…they tasted just like Christmas should taste!

We had an incredible time at the Shirt Factory Cafe in Medina. It’s absolutely worth taking a day trip out there, walking around and stopping for a cocktail and a bite to eat. Scott and Al are the most welcoming hosts and I can’t wait to head back again!

Thank you so much for having us! The Shirt Factory is located at 115 West Center Street in Medina.
