Personal Style: Animal print is a neutral

Black and white are neutrals...and so is animal print.

You might be thinking, "WTF no,"  but let me assure you, animal print looks fantastic with pretty much everything.

If you are looking to start incorporating animal print slowly into your wardrobe, I suggest that you start pairing it with actual neutral colors, such as black and white as I have done here.  It also looks fantastic with browns, tans, and especially army green as you can see in my look I posted HERE.

Once you are more comfortable, you can start pairing it with brighter colors.  One of my favorite looks I've done recently is paired these shoes with a black skirt and a hot pink top.  I've worn an animal print top with red pants in THIS look, and animal print also looks fantastic with denim.

If you are a little scared to rock the print, don't worry!  As long as you aren't sporting head-to-toe animal print velour sweats, you will look amazing.

Unless you look amazing wearing head-to-toe animal print velour sweats...then more power to you girlfriend.
